The CUIDAR study was conducted by a multidisciplinary team, aiming to explore the changes in care practices within the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a study about times, forms and spaces of care within the household during this pandemic.

The study featured non-probabilistic sampling and it was aimed at the national population of Chile.  The application of this web survey took place between the 2nd and 14th of May, 2020, prior to the decree of total lockdown in the Metropolitan Region (during dynamic lockdown strategies). In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies sent their employees home to work, while schools and day cares are also closed nationwide. Adult Day Care Centres were closed as well and mobility was constricted. In this scenario CUIDAR Study reflects the temporalities, materialities and care practices that take place within chilean homes.
